A Recent Success

Weddings are such a special occasion and we want to make sure the bride’s skin looks flawless on her big day! I was fortunate enough to help a recent bride with just that! She got married on September 1st and was so pleased with the number of compliments that she received about how amazing her skin looked! Let us be a part of your big day too by giving you the glowing skin that you deserve!

Together we can make a difference!
Our country is facing a catastrophic natural disaster. The people of Houston, Texas, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina are desperately needing our assistance. Hurricane Harvey devastated the state of Texas and Hurricane Irma did the same in the South. The Beauty Team at Ansley Marie’s Salon & Spa are teaming up with the Red Cross to donate a percentage of all proceeds to help our fellow citizens in this time of crisis. Come treat yourself and help the people affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Every dollar helps to get them the supplies that they need.

Do you have questions for our professionals? Let us help you answer those lingering questions that you’ve always wondered.
Q: What is balayage?
A: The word balayage comes from the French word meaning to “sweep.” Balayage is a technique for highlighting the hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way to create a graduated, natural-looking effect. Victoria specializes in this technique.

Q: My skin is dry, but I still constantly am fighting acne. I thought acne was only associated with oily skin?
A: Great question! Acne is such a tricky problem to deal with. Someone can have what we call “dry acne.” What that means is the skin is overly dry. When you use those acne products that are known to dry up the acne and kill the bacteria, the skin will freak out a little. The skin needs oil, but the skin needs “good” oil. So, if the skin does not receive the proper amount of “good” oil, then it will start to produce its own oil. That is the bad stuff that causes acne. So, now you have a double dose of problems that you are trying to combat in dry skin AND acne! Let us teach you how to properly care for your skin.

more beauty in your life.”
